So, Amazon's kindle uses epaper.  Think etch-a-sketch.  No
backlighting, it basically pulls ink onto a screen, and when you turn
the page, redoes the whole thing.  From what I understand it is way
way eaiser on the eyes, and usues a whole lot less power.  I do
likethe fact that you can download from nearly anywhere into it, but I
don't like that you can't really export it (DRM = 666)
