Hi,
I followed the procedure to install Debian on my Slung as described
athttp://www.cyrius.com/debian/nslu2/install.html and encountered a
problem after the installation of Debian on the slung at the point
when I try to connect by ssh.
After searching I found out that I might have to fix the network
configuration (see: http://www.nslu2-linux.org/wiki/Debian/FAQ). This
is the procedure:
******************************
To fix the network configuration you will need to edit a file on your
USB drive/stick. This will require you to either mount the root
partition on another machine or install a serial port
http://www.nslu2-linux.org/wiki/HowTo/AddASerialPort. The fix is to
edit the '/etc/network/interfaces' file. Make sure to back up the file
first.
******************************
My question is this: Should I change the drive I connected to the
slung or the slung itself? The latter one makes no sense, as I can't
even make a connection to it. So it should be the first option. But
then again, how can I mount the drive, what is the exact command. I'm
not to handy (yet) with Linux, so hopefully you can help me out.
Thx in advance!!
