I'm assuming you must be using telnet, as you don't say what terminal
emulator or firmware you are using.  This should be simple, if you are using
a proper terminal emulator (not the P.O.S. that comes with Windows).

Install openssh on the slug, if you have not done so already, then use PuTTY
as the SSH client on XP.  Google will point to the download location for
PuTTY (it's not an easy-to-remember URL)....

Hi all,

I hope this is not too trivial, but I can't find the answer in the
usual way....but does anyone know how to get more columns in my
terminal window?

When I have a long command line it either wraps round then the CRLF is
all wrong, or I can only see some of the line.

I can edit files as they just go off the screen and I know they are
still there but I would like to have a wider window, in XP.
