Hello,
in the U.S. everybody seems to agree, that the job market for web
analytics is booming, etc.. However I've also read, that in Europe
that was not really the case (to put it mildly) and that in Europe
there were actually few people who did web analytics full time.
I'm interested in SEO&Web Analytics (I guess the fact, that im into
analytics isnt hard to tell considering im probably the only SEO
who's favorite task is keyword research lol). Right now, I would
say, that I'll probably end up in a more generic online marketing/e-
commerce role (SEO, Internet Marketing, web analytics). However I'm
also considering the possibility of doing Web analytics full time (i
still have some time left before ill be able to start working,
anyways).
But well, at least this has got me wondering: The importance of
online marketing/e-commerce skills in general seems to be valued
here in Europe already (like in the US), but web analytics does not
seem to be valued as much..
Has this changed? Or: is this changing at the moment?
