This position in the Customer Insight Group (CIG) will
be responsible for providing analytical support for
the Client Service Team, and will increasingly be
expected to deliver data-driven strategic marketing
insights to the client. He/she will be assigned to
support clients, and will partner with another CIG
Team Member to serve the clients. He/she will develop
expertise in SQL, SAS, or SPSS to manipulate and
analyze attitudinal and behavioral data in order to
help achieve the clients? marketing objectives. This
person will also be expected to think beyond the data,
bridging the gap to the strategic implications. He/she
will be expected to generate new ideas for the
clients, and to partner closely with the Client
Service Team to sell and deliver those ideas.

Responsibilities:       
# Plan, execute, and analyze online surveys using
survey vendors such as Factor TG and Dynamic Logic
# Learn and deliver online customer analyses, such as:
Customer Segmentation, Retention Analysis, Lifetime
Value Analysis, Advertising Research, Brand Research,
Site Utilization
# Use web analytics tools such as WebTrends or
Omniture to analyze site user behavior
# Manage client relationships and accounts within the
context of the Customer Insight Group

Qualifications:
# Experience cleansing, manipulating, and transforming
online or direct marketing data
# Adept at performing basic statistical analysis, such
as calculating statistical significance,
distributions, etc.
# Ability to identify the marketing implications of
analysis results
# Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Proven ability to clearly articulate information about
data and insights to build client trust, particularly
at the Director level.
# Experience designing and/or analyzing surveys for
advertising effectiveness research is a plus

Education and/or Experience
# A master?s degree in statistics, mathematics, or
quantitative social sciences is preferred. The
equivalent combination of education, training and work
experience may be suitable.

Requirements:
# Expertise in creating presentations using Excel and
PowerPoint
# Experience manipulating and analyzing data using SQL
# Knowledge of basic statistical analysis procedures
such as significance testing, regression testing etc.

Extra credit:
# Expertise in statistical software such as SAS or
SPSS  
# Experience working with online survey vendors such
as Factor TG or Dynamic Logic
# Knowledge of advanced statistical analysis
procedures such as time series analysis etc.
