Hi Joe:

I'm going to CC the local list and simply ask the question.

Cameron motivated a number of us local guru's into downloading and running the
TeamSpeak voice-over-net clients. I think each of us was pretty excited once
we downloaded and ran the program--we were able to communicate in conference
mode (more than two people) without packet loss, jittery sound etc.
Actually, the sound exceeds telephone line quality!

Cameron doesn't exactly have a dedicated server, so ultimately, he took down
his TS server so he could use his computer at LAN parties.

I know two other people have installed TeamSpeak servers on their Linux boxes,
the question is, would anyone want to volunteer their server for wider use
(eg HumLUG users)?

I've installed it on my Pentium 70 locally, but I'm not too sure how well it
will perform with more then a few users.

So, would anyone wish to extend an open invitation to user their TS server and
perhaps post an IP or hostname? Inquiring minds like Joe's need to know :)

Wishing you well.
