The following positions are immediate need, 6 month +/- contract assignment
working on a client site in Sunnyvale, CA for a prestigious global Japanese
products and services company, publicly held with operations in US, Europe,
Asia and a large offshore development center in India. It is one of the
oldest and the largest systems integrators from Japan, recognized by MITI
(Ministry of Trade & Industry) and developing products and executing large
projects for clients globally. Furthermore, this is one of the leading
pioneers of the Open Source/Linux movement with strong expertise and
offerings in Linux and open source technologies.

1. Title: Software Engineer - Linux Kernal

Duration: 6 month + Contract

Location: Sunnyvale, California

In this role you'll be architecting the migration of a major, global
company's internal infrastructure to a Linux environment. You'll work
closely with a project manager and another architect. The ideal candidate
might have worked at large Unix Vendors like Sun, Intel, Apple, IBM etc.
Candidate's whose experience is predominantly "dot-coms" are likely not a
good fit for this role. Candidate must have Strong Linux Kernel exp., and
absolutely must have experience in an architect role helping a large
enterprise convert to Linux. Candidate will have in depth knowledge of Red
Hat Linux Enterprise Server, Device Drivers for Networking, cluster
experience a huge plus and overall experience between 8 - 14 years.

2. Title: Linux Software Engineer - Linux Scripting and Test Engineer

Duration: 6 month + Contract

Location: Sunnyvale, California

In this 6 month project, you'll work at a major company in the Silicon
Valley that needs help converting their infrastructure to Linux Enterprise.
Candidate must have Strong experience with KShell Scripting on Red Hat Linux
Enterprise Server, Strong Linux Sys Admin skills and some experience with
testing as well as overall experience between 8 - 14 years. In this role,
candidate will be writing scripts to convert the enterprise to a Linux
environment as well as carrying out some testing of the code base.

3. Title: C++/Unix Programmer - C++/Linux Engineer

Duration: 6 month + Contract

Location: Sunnyvale, California

In this 6 month project, you'll work at a major company in the Silicon
Valley that needs help converting their infrastructure to Linux Enterprise.
The ideal candidate might have worked at large Unix Vendors like Sun, IBM
etc., or possibly from Intel, Apple or other major company. Candidate whose
experience is primarily "dot-com" in nature will likely not be a good fit.
Candidate should have UNIX, Linux, C/C++, experience, ideally porting from
one version of Linux to another version (Preferably RH 3 to RH 4) or
experience porting from UNIX to Linux. Experience in Standard Unix systems
calls, korn shell, perl, c/c++, signals, ntwork stack tcp, file systems,
with overall experience of 8 to 10 years.
