I just discovered a filesystem driver for Linux called ntfs-3g. It's
FOSS and it WORKS! Finally, Linux users can have full read-write
access to NTFS filesystems.

I also switched from a Truecrypt volume on my external USB hard drive
to the LUKS format. It still works great in Windows with FreeOTFE
software, but get this: all I do is plug it into my linux laptop, and
ubuntu detects that it's an encrypted drive automatically! I provide
the password, and it just mounts itself...

This is so SLICK!

Very excited,

Eric
