I've got a spare 5100 w/ power supply you are welcome to borrow. It has the
factory firmware on it (not sbc yahoo firmware) so its configuration is a
tad more complex.
I also have a 2wire DSL modem/router (non wireless) with power supply.

I'll bring both of them with me tomorrow for you to pick and choose.

hey, gang!
needed: a power supply for a speedstream 5100 dsl modem
the power supply is 12v 700ma, ring (outside of barrel connector) is
negative, center tip (female) is positive.

or alternately does anyone who's going to be at lunch tomorrow have a
spare dsl modem & power supply they're not using?

i'm trying to troubleshoot dsl wireless networking problems for mosgo's
coffee shop up in arcata based on a description from the coffee shop
manager at tonight's rtc holiday mixer. their wireless networking/dsl
access has been flaky lately.

i'd like to swap out the 2wire equipment, but i can't simply substitute
a linksys or netgear wireless router (which i've got spares) because the
2wire also incorporates a dsl modem. i've got a speedstream modem (&
power supply) in my parts box with a yellow sticky note taped to it that
says "power supply fried, modem ok". thus the request...
