Even though it ain't a pda per se, I'd have to get an N810. The Nokia 810 has
a little slide out keyboard and built in GPS. You can download open source
maps for it. It's linux. Lots of great linux apps. You can get root access
with a terminal.
Like I said, it ain't really a pda, so don't flop your money down for it until
you know what this thing is. It's a pretty cool little internet tablet, and
you probably know about it already. I am biased toward it because I've had a
Nokia 770 for some time now, and it's been totally reliable and stable and has
been all I wanted it to be with the exception of the flash version on it. The
wireless wifi radio in it is the best longest ranging wifi access device I own
of all my laptops and adapters, making it a killer wifi sniffer with kismet
installed. The N810 is a little more up to date.
There undoubtedly are better PDA choices than the N810 if you want full PDA
functionality.
