While hanging out in #debian (#ubuntu? pfft), several people commented that aptitude is now the "preferred" tool for managing packages on debian systems. Supposedly, it can manage dependencies better than apt-get, among other advantages. Is anyone else using aptitude? Is it better? Is it really the new debian way? Cheers, Eric
